At times of companionship

At this time during the Deepavali (Indian New Year) celebration, lots of fireworks were burned. With all the noises around the neighborhood, all the furkids will gather around us in the living room.






Some of them are frighten of fireworks and all the noises it made. We remembers the first time our kids heard the noises, it drives them crazy, running around the house looking dazed. Thus, when we started Mamadog, we make sure we are around them during any celebrations.

Deepavali and Christmas Holidays

Please make your bookings early, we have limited space left for the coming holidays. Bookings are first come first serve basis. You will be place on our waiting list should the particular dates become unavailable.

All our boarders are allowed to roam free in our compound without restriction during the morning and late afternoon. If it gets too hot, we will put them in their rooms to rest.

Mamadog bakes your order fresh and uses only natural ingredients. No artificial flavoring and preservative.

October 9th, Mamadog welcomes Sheba and Max into our boarding.
Poor thing they came straight from KLIA after flight from UK.
Welcome Sheba and Max to Malaysia.

An amazing dog named Faith

This dog was born on Christmas Eve year 2002. He was born with 3 legs - 2 healthy hind legs and 1 abnormal front leg which need to be amputated. He of course could not walk when he was born. Even his mother did not want him. His first owner also think he could not survive. Therefore, he was thinking of 'putting him to sleep'.


By this time, his present owner, Jude Stringfellow, met him and wanted to take care of him. She is determined to teach and train this dog to walk by himself. Therefore she named him 'Faith".




In the beginning, she put Faith on the surf board to let him fell the movements. Later, she used peanut butter on a spoon as a lure and reward him to stand up and jump around. Even the other dogs at home help encourage him to walk. Amazingly, after 6 months, like a miracle, Faith learned to balance on his 2 hind legs and jumped to move forward.




After further training in the snow, he now can walk like a human being. Faith loves to walk around now. No matter where he goes, he just attracts all the people around him. He is now becoming famous in the international scene. There is even one book entitled: 'With a little Faith' being published about him. he was even considered to appear in one Harry Porter movie. His present owner Jude Stringfellow has given up om her teaching post and plans to take him around the world to preach that even without a perfect body, one can have a perfect soul. Way to go Faith.

DBKL Killing Dogs

It was horrifying to know that the Kuala Lumpur City Hall or DBKL are using pesticide laced food to kill our furfriends. Furthermore, according to news report, they actually throw it into houses with licensed dogs.

Just wondering if they ever threat animals also as a gift of life. Maybe they should treat them better.

Finally, Mamadog has its own blog. It took us awhile to decide whether to have a blog. We hope that to those who loves dogs can share and discuss the joy of having dogs.

We have 4 dogs namely: Wishes-the alpha female-she is an x file breed, Cougar-we adopted him from a fren-he is a German Shepard mixed, Pierro-a pure breed Labrador and the latest in our family-Fire-she's a mixed breed and the youngest in the family.
